Who is responsible
Undertow Research is responsible for the processing of personal data on this website. Contact: invite@undertowresearch.tech
The short version
- This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising tools.
- Fonts and all other files are served from our own domain. No content is loaded from third-party servers while you browse.
- We only receive personal data if you send us the invitation form or an email.
Hosting
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). To deliver the website and protect it against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested and your browser type. This data is processed in server logs for security and operation and is not used by us to identify you. Cloudflare may process data outside your country, including in the USA; Cloudflare participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses standard contractual clauses. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Invitation form
If you request an invitation, we receive the details you enter: your name or handle, email address, wallet address, how you heard about us and your optional note. The form is sent through Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which forwards your details to our mailbox by email. We use these details only to review your request and to reply to you.
Wallet addresses are public on the blockchain. Linking one to your name or email is personal data, and we treat it as such.
We keep requests for as long as needed to handle them and for the time you participate. If you do not participate, we delete your request within 12 months, or earlier if you ask.
Our mailbox is hosted by Zoho Mail. If you email us, we process your email address and message to reply to you.
The Undertow Research app
The app at app.undertowresearch.tech is a separate service with its own terms and privacy information. This page covers the website only.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights under data protection laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the Thai Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). These include the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise them, email invite@undertowresearch.tech. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Legal basis
We process form and email data to respond to your request and, where you go on to participate, to take steps before entering into an agreement with you. We process hosting data based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
